Katydid and Fibers

This photo of a baby katydid (about the size of my pinky nail) came out focused badly, but I'm running it here anyway because I'm amazed at how a shirt that looks perfectly clean to the naked eye can look so filthy when put under near-microscopic scrunity. I'm also fascinated by how translucent how the fiber, or hairs, are. I have a cat and regularly dog-sit four dogs, plus I work in fiber art, so my clothes are always a forensic nightmare and there's no way to even begin to guess what kind of fibers these are. Hopefully they aren't Morgellons.
