This thing flew onto my windshield wiper yesterday in Madison, IN. After I got home and examined the photo, I realized that he has two sets of wings, one of which seems rather cumbersome and unlikely, and that his body seems to be all thorax and no abdomen.

Two flies in the house in one week? I must be Lord of the Flies and didn't even notice.

I also didn't notice that the couch, which appears cream-colored to the naked eye, actually has pink and blue threads running all over it. Hunh.
