Nat Cicco Cuban Legends

Okay, maybe I got a bum stick, but this two-dollar shorty disappointed me more than any cigar I can remember. Started off okay, but got nastier as it progressed and was rolled so tightly I bruised a lung just trying to get a draw off this thing.

I've read reviews that say nice things about it, so maybe I'm just spoiled. In any case, I think I'm through exploring the cheapo end of the cigar Universe.

Sexton Blake on Kindle

So I finally get on board with 21st century Kindle technology, and what do I use it for? Looking at crude PDF scans of ancient crumbling Sexton Blake pulp fiction stories from 1908.

Kremer's Reserva Limited

I don't get to Kremer's much - my go-to place for a stick in Louisville is J. Shepherd's and when across the puddle, I have my pals at Riverside Cigars, Kaiser's, and Billow to keep me well stocked. Besides, Kremer's doesn't carry much Drew Estate, and I'm all about the Drewster.

But when I found myself dipping my beak in there the other day, I just had to try their own specialty line of cigars. I figured it's something I wouldn't find anywhere else, right? The $4.95 price tag had me wary but I was pleasantly surprised - it was, in all seriousness, one of the best budget-class smokes I've had.
