Fuzz
Being a cat owner and a fiber artist - not to mention a slob - there's always stray unidentifiable fibers all over the place. If I'm ever found dead under circumstances of foul play, the crime scene will be a forensic nightmare.
Noticed this tiny fuzzball - smaller than my pinky fingernail - suspended from a lampshade in my living room, seemingly attached by a single nearly-invisible-to-the-naked-eye strand of fiber, via nothing more than static cling and luck. Upon taking an extreme closeup of the speck of lint, I was surprised to see what a complex aggregation of microfibers it is.
