Like filmmakers and animators arrange storyboards to get a rough idea of the feel of the product, I have a habit of arranging pages of a written work on the walls, so that I can pace around pondering the work as a whole, and get a general feel of its gestalt. I get a much better idea of what needs tweaking by doing it this way, rather than scrolling page by page on a computer.
