MESTSIDE
So, a few months ago, this piece of graffiti reading "MESTSIDE", done by someone mentally challenged at spray-painting "WESTSIDE" upside down, appeared on the Hurstbourne overpass near Anchorage. Just recently, the goof apparently finally realized his mistake and went back and crossed out the M. (Bummer, really, because I thought "MESTSIDE" was actually really cool, but now it says "ESTSIDE" and that is not cool at all.)

Larry's Liquors
I love this place! Even though it has a front door, you can't really walk into the store - you're immediately faced with a window where you tell the man what you want, and he ferrets around in the back for it and brings it out to you. So it's essentially a walk-up liquor kiosk, just like a walk-up ice cream stand. And the wackiest part of all is, it's in the middle of a residential area. This is why I love America.
Box of Krampus
I once got him a huge toy plastic house that looked like a giant wedge of cheese. It had a comfy pad to lay on inside, plus lots of dangly things for his entertainment. But he'd much rather have a plain old cardboard box.

New JSH Studio
