Face in the Mop
Once you see this Bunsen Honeydew-like face on the side of this mop, you can't un-see it. Also reminds me of a Don Martin character.
Puppy Painting
Among the peculiar items that already came pre-loaded with my new studio/gallery in the Highlands: this painting of a pile of pups, given a lavishly ornate gilt frame. It's actually a pretty good painting, although the perspective of the head of the dog chewing another dog's ear is off. But hey, what do I know, I paint cartoon ducks in bow ties.
Blurry Blue Mary
The macro on my camera absolutely refused to focus on this Virgin Mary night-light. I wonder if the blue light had anything to do with it; I've noted oddities in the way my camera responds to blues and purples in the past.

End of Campbell Street
Campbell's a funny street. One end of it just vanishes near River Road, and the other comes to an abrupt dead-end here in the hospital district.

Antique Victorian Print
It came with the house.
I sometimes fear that I'll eventually end up inside the picture, like Jack Nicholson at the end of Stanley Kubrick's The Shining.
New Art Studio
My latest designated island of sanity - a historic old house in the Highlands that, while greatly in need of repair and restoration, suits my purposes perfectly for a workshop/painting studio/getaway.
Removal of a false dropped ceiling that some goob added sometime in the last 50 years revealed glimpses of the amazing original hand-stenciled art-nouveau ceiling.
