These antique iron embellishments on the stairs at City Market are lovely, but dangerous - it's easy to hit them with your foot and trip and fall, especially if you have a tendency (like me) to kick each stair with the tip of your boot just to reassure yourself you've placed each foot securely enough on the stair as you walk up. My boot tip got momentarily stuck in one of these, and I almost did a Chevy Chase backwards tumble.
